Getchell Library officially begins its move to the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008. During the move, a portion of Getchell Library will remain open to provide ongoing library and computing services.

• Books and journals from Getchell Library will be available for retrieval by library staff. Requests for retrieval may be made through the library’s online catalog at www.unr.edu, or in person at the main Getchell Library lobby desk.
• Online access to journals and electronic databases will continue without interruption.
• Some computers will continue to be available in Getchell Library.
• Library Reference Services will continue to be available.
• All Special Collections materials will be available by advance appointment only.
• Some Basque Library materials will be available by advance appointment only. Basque Library books may be requested for pickup.
• Business and Government Information Center (BGIC) materials and reference service will be available by request.
• The Book Nook used bookstore will be closed.
• The DeLaMare Library will be open as usual.
• The Life and Health Sciences Library will offer limited services, including reserves and public-use computers.
