Registration Requirements for Summer Institutes

Academic Credit Registration Requirements
All new or returning students (with one or more skipped semesters) must pay a nonrefundable application fee of $60 if they wish to enroll in undergraduate or graduate credit courses. Students registering for noncredit courses are exempt from this fee.

Immunization Requirement
Proof of immunization is required for all students attending classes that meet in whole or in part in Washoe County (Reno, Sparks, Redfield). Students born in 1957 or later must provide official documentation verifying two doses of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) any time in their lifetime, and one dose of diphtheria and tetanus (DT) within the last 10 years. Students born before 1957 are exempt from the MMR requirement, but must provide DT immunization documentation. International students have additional requirements. Registrations cannot be processed without complete documentation. For information, call the Student Health Center at (775) 784-6598.

Attendance Policy
Attendance is mandatory at all class sessions to successfully complete a course. Please plan accordingly.
